If you look at this villa then you will realize that this is a complex villa design that combines historical ancient building with minimalism (where we think it was a villa at first sight). This complex house design is dubbed House L, it comes from a former 18th century greenhouse which was part of a castle in France. The ancient architectural original design was integrated with a minimalist house design that goes all the way up looking like a fortress or tower. This combination of heritage housing with modern minimalist architectural design becomes very exquisite, a nice integration as you can see there are lots of outdoors spaces which is hidden in some kind of alley which can be used as a place to relax and have some coffee which is just sheltered by the modern building, away from the outside world, keeping you safe and cozy.
This housing project goes by the French architect Christian Pottgiesser. Looking from the outside, this modern heritage house design which has already been modified, looks completely separated, but as you go inside, this minimalist design is actually interconnecting between each other. There are three perimeters surrounded by historical monuments, the conservation of a sewage network that divides the garden and therefore family members have their personal space.
This modern architectural design was intentionally made to house a family with four children. The home was built on a hillside with five white concrete towers made of pine wood (with the look of minimalism), visually stand out and very catchy. The house’s roof is covered with perennial vegetation, giving it a nice blend between the house and the green environment surrounding it. The largest tower or house design is designated as the parents tower, thus each family members get their own unique home design.
Inside, it’s very much different than the outside, as each of the towers have modern floor plans which is contemporary. We tend to think that it will be great if it’s used as a villa or as a modern resort house which combines with traditional ancient architecture, where all the surrounding is supporting it to be as what we’ve thought it was with some heritage values.
