Bohlin Cywinski Jackson is a big architecture and interior design company which made a lot of projects for such companies like Apple, Macromedia, Adobe and many many others. They also managed to work on many public and university projects. Although they work on residential living projects too.
Here is one of their late works which almost entirely made out of wood and glass. That create pretty impressive nature feeling. The site of this house is located between two divergent creeks and contains magnificent redwood trees. A glass living pavilion opens the house to the surrounding landscape. The bedroom volumes are arrayed along the forested edge of the creek under a great oak tree. They tuck under the floating roof of the main living space. Isn’t this is a dream wooden house which allow to be closer to nature but feel as comfortable living there as every modern person want?
