This modern concrete home design was built by Jorge Hernandez de la Garza. The Smooth Building is located in a residential area precisely in San Pedro Garza Garcia in Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The modern concrete house has unique wavy design on its roof top where the architect decide to call it “smooth”. Sand Pedro Garcia is a place known for its beauty and excellent location overlooking the city skyline of Mexico.

The biggest challenge that surfaces out of this concrete house project was to integrate the two rooms, an office and a house, in the same area, in the same floor plan. In maximizing this concrete home office isn’t as easy as you might thought, even when space given here are quite large. The materials used in this modern concrete home design are mainly glasses and concrete. You can see how vast amount of huge modern floor to ceiling windows are used in this modern concrete home project.

This modern architectural home project was also a tough challenge for the architecture due to the harsh terrain irregularity thus very much determining the dimensions of the structure, which occupies 70% of lot area. The result is this modern structure evolves into a modern building that is much influenced by the textures, and this is also to respond the weather and views.
